Sally E. Shaywitz, “Overcoming dyslexia” ★★★★☆
The book is a explanation of dyslexia with great detail. It covers history, detection, and actions to take to mitigate this incapacity’s effects. But it repeats a lot. Sometimes even the author excuses herself for the repetition. The book is very long, and a big part of that is the amount of repetition included for every critical topic. I do not understand why the editor did not fix that.
That said, the content of the book is excellent. I did learn many things, and it is a perfect complement to some other, more practical books.
See it at goodreads.
