Lisa Damour, Untangled
This book is like a manual for teenager parents, and I know I already said this in my previous review of the book “Voice Lessons for Parents”. I learned a lot, and it helps me with my teen at home, especially at the moment of talking to her. You, like any adult, understand what is going on with her. But it is a whole different thing talking to her properly. To empathize with her at the same time that you make her respect the basic rules of your home. It is a tough balance that I was struggling to get. This book helps me with that, and at the same time gave me a lot of little tricks to be a better parent. I am grateful to the author for sharing all that.
