Time to start a new adventure
This post includes an audio version. If you prefer that you can listen here or on the JAL Audioblog Podcast
It is time to start a new adventure. Recently I have started to write on my blog at least once a week. It is not much, but I’m pretty happy with it, and I feel the need to go a bit beyond. Let me explain.
Thanks to my son Pau now I’m more aware than before about the needs of different people. Pau has dyslexia, and for him reading a blog post can be a considerable effort, and so can be the case for many other people. I know that there is technology to read the written text, but it can not beat the author reading the text for now. But in fact, I won’t be reading the text since I found that boring. I’ll try to share the same information but a way more suitable to a podcast format.
Let me be clear, this is not a podcast but an audio blog. In fact, if you read my blog, you do not need to subscribe with your Podcast player since I’ll link every episode from the entries on my blog.
From my previous experience with podcasting, I know how hard it is to keep working on a podcast for months. Doing this right is hard work, and I won’t have the time to put in the work to do it as professionals do. I’ll do my best for this to sound decent, and that is all.
I have to say as well that this is a test. This means that I’m not sure it will work, and I’ll be able to keep it going. Maybe I do it for a bit, then stop for later retake it. It also means that you do not expect any kind of consistency in the posting. I might do a post every week on one a month and then stop for some months. Who knows!
I believe that it is important to try things and learn from every experience. It is good to try, fail, learn and keep trying things, and in my opinion, it is the best way to mastery.
Humans communicate; if you have any thoughts on this, do not hesitate a second and send a twit, a message an e-mail, a song, or whatever. I’ll be happy to hear from you. Even if you do not like this!
Peace.
